Nars super orgasm lipgloss dupe

Elf glam guava is an exact dupe of Nars super orgasm lipgloss. They both have gold glitter and a pinky gloss. The colour of the elf lipgloss does look a little bit darker in the tube but on the lips you really can't tell the difference.

Nars top and Elf bottom
(Nars super orgasm lipgloss on the top lip
and elf glam guava on the bottom lip)
The only difference is the texture the elf lipgloss is stickier than the nars one. But as you will know if you have tried nars lipglosses before, that they are 0% sticky. So it is quite hard to find a lipgloss that isn't sticky like the nars lipglosses. I hope you found this helpful.

Origins Mega Mushroom kit review

I really wanted to try the mega mushroom skin relief face cream. This is supposed to help get rid of sensitivity and redness. So i went to a CCO and find this little trial pack. So I thought i would give it a whirl. In the pack there is a cleanser, toner, moisturiser and an advanced face serum.

(left to right) cleanser, toner, serum, moisturiser
Mega mushroom skin relief face cleanser
The face cleanser I have only tried a few times but I stopped using it because i felt like it just wasn't doing anything for my skin. I usually use the Liz Earle hot cloth cleaner and wasn't as good as it so I just couldn't carry on using it.It is a foaming cleanser and it did kind of dry my skin out a bit.

Mega mushroom skin relief soothing facial lotion 50ml
The toner I must say is very nice I do think that it has helped with my blackheads and just overall helping clean and clear out my skin. But for the redness I think that it does help with say a spot that is very inflamed and red then this does help with reducing the redness but my red cheeks i don't think that it helped with that at all.

Mega mushroom skin relief soothing face cream
The moisturiser I do really like this was the while reason why i bought the pack in the first place. It moisturises really well and really hydrates your skin without it felling greasy and i found that it did really sink into the skin pretty fast to. But it is kind of the same as the toner it helped with red spots and reduces that kind of redness. But it hasn't got rid of my very red cheeks or stopped my blushing.

Mega mushroom skin relief advanced face serum
The serum i didn't use much because i think that this is supposed to be used when say you have just woken up and there is a very red inflamed spot on your face and you want to reduce that quickly then this will do the job. It really did do the job I had a very red spot on day out of nowhere and I popped this on and then put my makeup on and then when i took my makeup off I was so surprised that the redness had actually nearly all gone. I then put it on again at night and in the morning it wasn't red anymore.
(left to right) cleanser, toner, moisturiser, serum

So overall if you are prone to getting red spot and you want to keep them at bay then i definitely would recommend this set. But if you have very red cheeks or have rosacea i wouldn't recommend this because personally it didn't do anything for my extremely red cheeks. I would recommend the toner and moisturiser on there own because they were very nice if you are just looking for a simple moisturiser that is good for your skin and just a simple toner that will make your skin feel clean and fresh then I would recommend these products individually.

I am still on the hunt for a product that will get rid of my red cheeks and hopefully stop me blushing for no reason. If you have any recommendations please let me know. I hope you found this helpful and thanks for reading.

Nars moon fleet lipgloss dupe

Avon glazwear sparkle in Mango is a great dupe for Nars's lipgloss in moon fleet. I only have a mini sample size of moon fleet but hopefully you can still see the amazing beautiful colour.

The only little difference is that moon fleet's glitter is a little chunkier. But I still think that they look almost the same on the lips.

(Top to bottom Nars moon fleet, Avon mango)

Nars on the top lip and Avon on the bottom lip

So if you are on a budget and don't mind if the glitter isn't so chunky. Then go order Avon glazwear sparkle in mango. The best thing is that the Avon glazwear sparkle lipgloss in mango is only £6 and the Nars lipgloss in moon fleet is £17.50.

MUA out there plumping lipgloss review

My MUA out there plumping lipgloss is in candy pink. The packaging is quite nice, considering it is £2. The tube is long and skinny.

The colour is a bright light pink with no shimmer. It is  very pretty.

Now to the plumping effect. It doesn't plump to a great deal. But you do notice that your lips do look a tiny bit fuller. When you first put it on your lips do feel a little hot, but it isn't anythng to strong.

(bare lips)
(With lipgloss on)
Overall this is a great lipgloss for £2, there is a really nice colour range. If you were going to buy this for the plumping effect then, I think that you would be disappointed but if you were buying this as a lipgloss then I would definetly say go buy it.

Rimmel 25 hour foundation

I remember reading a review about this foundation on a blog, which was just raving about it so much. That then I got in my head that i had to have it. But I must say it really did disappoint me. Mine is in the shade 100 ivory, which is the lightest shade but it isn't very light.

First of all the colour range is horrible if you have pale skin. But i got it anyway. The texture is very thick, which I find looks very cakey on me. The worst thing of all is that already it is too dark for me, but when blended onto my neck I could just about get away with it. After about 2 hours I was bright orange, the foundation had oxidized. Now I never really ever have a problem with my foundations oxidizing because I don't live in the centre of a town, so it can't been the pollution and I always wear a primer so it doesn't react with my skin. So it must be the foundation. The last thing is that at the bottom it says lightweight feel, it definitely isn't a lightweight feel, it is very heavy.

The only good thing about this foundation is that it does last for a very long time. But I definitely wouldn't want to keep this on my face for 25 hours. Another is that it is transfer proof which is good in a foundation. Now if you like very full coverage, then you may like this but there are so many other downfalls.

Overall I did want to like this product but I really didn't get along with it. Sorry for the rant but I really was disappointed with this product and I definitely wouldn't recommend this to a friend.

Avon glazewear lipgloss review

I have got 4 glazwear lipgloss's. There are 4 different type of glazewear lipgloss's. Shine, sparkle, spf 15 and dazzle. I have 1 shine, 2 sparkle and they only do 1 spf. I don't have any dazzles but hopefully sometime in the future I will.

(from top to bottom) shine iced pink, spf 15 clear,
sparkle shimmering amethyst, sparkle mango.

The shine ones don't have any glitter I believe. They are just a shiny coloured gloss, mine is in iced pink.
The spf 15 is clear. It is great for went it is sunny to give your lips a little bit of shine and protect your lips from being burnt at the same time
The sparkle ones as the name suggest's have sparkle in them. I have mango and shimmering amethyst. Mango is a lovely golden colour with gold shimmer. The gold is very sheer though so it doesn't really show up on the lips, but the gold glitter does it is very pretty.
Shimmering amethyst is a beautiful bright fushcia pink with blue flecks of glitter. Which helps make your teeth look whiter.

iced pink
spf 15 clear
 mango
 shimmering amethyst

The formula of all these glosses are perfect, they aren't sticky at all and they stay on the lips for a resonable amount too. I would definetly say you should give these lipglosses a whirl.

In spirit of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee

Today is the Queen's diamond jubilee. Which I am really getting in the mood for, so I thought that I would make a blog post about it about what I have been doing to get in the mood.

I have done some union jack flags on my nails, to get into the spirit of things.

If you want to know how to do it then click here.Union Jack nail tutorial

Then on the my right hand I just did red, white and blue on different nails.

These are the colours I used:

(left to right) Essie's 331 swing velvet, elf's white
and Barry M's 291 blue

I love all of these nail polishes except for elf's white. It is just that you have to try very hard to make it look nice. Maybe this is with all whites I don't know, this is the only white I have. That's why I used it even though I don't particularly like it that much. I do love elf nail polishes still, I think this colour is just a one off.

Now because I was in the mood I thought that I would bake something in the British theme as well, so I mad scones. I followed the recipe from this blog My kind of red, white and blue!. A little shout out to this blog (I'mnotachef) it gives amazing recipes and really helps me find new ways to use up leftovers. I must say they tastes amazing. I would like to say that it was down to my baking skills, but I think I really do owe this to the recipe. I won't show you a picture of mine because they don't look as lovely as hers but they still tastes really good.

I think that is just a lovely occasion and if you are, like me watching it on the TV. You will know how beautiful it looks too even though, unfortunately it is raining.

Union Jack nail tutorial

The nail polishes I used are:

(left to right) Essie's swing velvet, elf's white
Barry M's 291 blue

1. Paint your nails white with a white nail varnish. I actually wouldn't recommended the elf nail polish in white. You have to try very hard to make it look nice.

2.They get a bobbi pin / hair grip and bend it and use the end of the straight side to pick up you nail polish.

3. I then start with the red and do a straight line down and then across

4.Then I do the diagonal lines but I firstly do them quite short

5.Then I clean my hair grip with some nail varnish remover
6.Then I get the blue on the end of the grip and then you kind of outline the triangle
7.Then you fill the triangle in

8. Then you clean the end and get the red polish and if you need to extend the diagonal lines a little do now
9.Now you have Union Jack nails that hopefully look gorgeous

Natural collection eyeshadow review

Considering that these eyeshadows are only £1.79, they are pretty good eyeshadows. The packaging does look cheap but well it was cheap.

I have milk chocolate which is a matte light brown. And barley which is a lovely shimmery golden colour. Which actually really reminds me a little bit of Mac all that glitter eyeshadow.

(left to right) milk chocolate, barley.

The eyeshadows are nicely pigmented. They are nice to work with, especially milk chocolate and are super cheap. The only bad side is the staying power, with a primer they do stay for a good amount of time but they definetly wouldn't stay on if you were dancing all night. So if you are in boots and are passing the natural collection stand, go and pick up some eyeshadows because they are great.

May favourites 2012 !!!!

I haven't loved too many new things this month but there are a few little gems that I want to share with you. Here is an overview of the products.

St Moriz
Firstly I have been loving my St moriz to give me a lovely summers glow. If you want to see a full review then click here.Getting ready for summer!!!
Garnier BB cream
Now when the Garnier BB cream first came out there was a lot of hype about it. So I went and picked it up and tried it and I must say I hated it and I still do (on it's own). Now you're probably thinking well why then did you put it in you're monthly favourites. Well, because I have been fake tanning I have been a little bit darker and I didn't have a foundation that matched. So I mixed my foundation with this and I works wonderfully. So I wouldn't say go out and buy this but if you have it and want a use for it, then if it is a natural or fake tan then you can make you foundation the right shade for you.
Batiste dry shampoo
I absolutely love batiste dry shampoo's and recently I picked up the coconut and exotic one. It works exactly the same as every other Batiste dry shampoo but the reason why this is my favourite is because it smells amazing.
Chanel vitalumiere aqua
I won't say too much about my Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua foundation because I am still loving it and if you want to see a full review then just click here Chanel vitalumiere aqua review
elf twinkle nail polish
I have just posted a blog post of Barry M's 309 with this elf nail polish in twinkle and it reminded me of how much I love sparkly nail varnish, this one especially.
Marc Jacobs daisy
I love Marc Jacobs daisy perfume but because I fell in love with the Boots Natural Collection body sprays. I kind of forgot about it. But I have fallen in love again.
Accesorize eyeshadow
This is the only Accesorize eyeshadow I have but I will definitely be buying more.Mine is in shade 7 golden caramel. This one is just a lovely shimmery everyday natural, sweep over the lid kind of colour. LOVE IT.

Maybelline color sensational lip tint
Then finally sometimes this month I just haven't been in the mood for lipgloss or lipstick. Then I found my Maybeline color sensational lip pen in 105 Tender rose. It is very pretty and it lasts for ages.

So these are my may favourites I hope you liked it. Hopefully the sun will stay a little longer for June.
